Clipper tea was founded in 1984 and was the first UK tea maker to bear the Fairtrade logo on all of its products. Clipper is “natural, fair and delicious”. Started by Mike and Lorraine Brehme, they met success after they utilised the quality tea they had. The black tea, Assam, wasn’t readily available and was widely accepted.
Clipper tea, coffee and drinking chocolate is only made from the best and is sourced from Sri Lanka, Africa and India. The company has a wide range of teas including white, rooibos, everyday, green and infusions. Reportedly, they were first company to introduce green tea to the UK and they have 15 varieties of it including blends with lemon, ginseng and mint. The coffee is made with Fairtrade Arabica beans which are of course organic.
